is considered the toughest creature on planet Earth. Found on glaciers and deserts around the world, some turtles inhabit the sea or freshwater. They live in almost every environment, commonly in a thin film of water on the surface of mosses, lichens, algae or some species of plants. They can tolerate temperatures ranging from 150°C to -273°C and can survive 600MPa, which is six times the pressure at the deepest ocean floor (Mariana Trench). Their life cycle and activity is influenced by water. The size of the turtles ranges from 0.05 mm to 1.2 mm.
