In cooperation with the House of Reading we invite you to moments of poetry in flowering gardens and lively courtyards. We will start in the atrium of the House of Reading, from where we will go for a walk around Strašnice. At each stop there will be a poetry reading.
The meeting is in 17:30 at the Municipal Library in Prague - House of Reading. The estimated length of the walk is 2.5 hours.

Vojtěch Vacek, author of two collections of poetry, for the second of which, Měňagon, he is currently nominated for the Jiří Orten Award. He works at the House of Reading as a librarian and also helps with the dramaturgy of some of the House of Reading's events.
Vít Janota, author of eight collections of poetry, highly respected by readers and critics. He is currently the Poet of Prague and organizes literary walks around various, especially lesser-known, disappearing, or sadly already disappeared places of the capital.
Theodora Voráčková, author of one collection of poetry. Currently she works as a doctor in a children's ward. She situates her texts between poetry and prose, in which gardens, heat, trains and stations, chance encounters and the transience of relationships play a role.
Dita Lamačová, the founder of the greenery in the concrete courtyard in the Strašnice courtyard and subsequently of the Bubahof association based there. In her home residence she will present the book Garden by Derek Jarman and poems by William Blake.
The programme is implemented thanks to the support of Municipality of Prague 10 and cooperation with Prague City Library without entrance fee.
