Plant Swap and Film Screening

You are cordially invited to an afternoon dedicated to houseplants, self-grown cuttings and perennials that are starting to grow on us. A gathering for all who enjoy talking about plants and getting their hands off the dirt.

16-18:30 h

~ Exchange houseplants, perennials, seedlings and seeds: Exchange, bring and take away plant gifts. Anything brought should ideally have a name tag or direct instructions or the plant's story. Growing equipment is also useful to exchange. Please leave only the plastic planters at home.

~ Transplanting flowers in OlgaA: Even the plants in our shared space need care. If you feel like swapping, we would welcome help with replanting a few houseplants.

~ Information on Community Supported AgricultureA: How does the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) buying group in the Olga area work? This year's organic vegetable drives start in May. Feel free to come and ask anything you are interested in.

Although director Mo, his wife and three children live their Scandinavian dream on a remote farm somewhere in Norway, they are concerned about the carbon footprint of their prosperity. Climate anxiety provokes them to seek a more sustainable way of life. They leave their idyllic home and move to "Permatopia" - a brand new, self-sufficient, organic farm in Denmark. But will living in a green community really be the solution for a family of five stubborn individualists with different ideas and dreams? A heartfelt yet brutally honest film about one family's attempt to make a real difference in the shadow of climate change.
