How to create a small edible forest even in the city?
We invite you to a practical workshop focused on the establishment and maintenance of an edible forest in an urban environment, which will be conducted by permaculture gardener Katka Horáčková.
We'll follow up the April screening of the film Stories of forest gardens and we will look at how to apply the principles of edible forest gardens in small spaces - in urban gardens, at family homes, in community gardens, in the park and of course on brand new plots.
Edible forest gardens combine the cultivation of different heights of trees, shrubs, herbs and vegetables. In such a garden there is always something interesting to observe or eat - be it leaves, berries, stems, roots, mushrooms... or just a bench for quiet contemplation.
