Local rental and other re-use activities are based on the desire for mutual help and solidarity in our neighbourhood with respect to the environment. There is no need to rely only on shops, there is room for shared creativity and local exchange. We believe that it is better to borrow than to buy unnecessarily. And it is better to donate than to throw away.
A library is available for book exchange all year round. Roommates and seeds can also be exchanged. During opening times or program, you can stop by, pick out things to use or leave something new for your neighbors. We also regularly host swaps with different focuses.
You can also share ideas, skills or contacts. We facilitate the exchange of services, mutual assistance or ideas that you don't want to implement on your own. We build a list of contacts and are happy to connect you with other local clubs and neighbours.
We rent park games, a ping pong table, board games, picnic tables, hammock, boards and wooden painting goats, easels, a sieve and tarp for tossing compost, a fruit picker, a community two-wheeler, work gloves, a party tent, cables, small tools, speakers, a soda can with spigot, thermoses, glasses, pint glasses, cutlery and other equipment for neighborhood events.
The list of available equipment continues to grow. We welcome meaningful items that you no longer use, but someone else could use.
All equipment is available free of charge for organisers of community and educational events. We support active residents, associations and institutions. We value the work of volunteers and people who care about the place where we live together.
The concrete table, which you can find in the northwest corner of the park, used to stand in the courtyard on Short Street. It was donated to the public in April 2025 by its former owner, a neighbor. The Bubahof Society is now reviving it. The Prague 10 municipal authority welcomed and approved its placement in the park. During May, we started renovation. We lined and leveled the table, secured it by connecting the playing surfaces with the bases, cleaned it and started with the sealing. Before we enjoy the game in the park, we will continue with the sealing, sand and paint the table. Please be patient in the meantime. Take care of the table with us. Want to join in? Table tennis bats, balls and nets are available for hire and can be used in the park.
From September 2024 you can also borrow books from the publishing house Disorder, Utopia Libri, transit, Display a AVU. Thank you to the publishers for the books.
