björnson's is a project, a fictional character, a community, and a dance multibody with roots and connections across time, places, and art forms. This hybrid subjectivity recycles, multiplies and inverts practices, methods, objects, texts and bodies in every action that takes place in its name. It focuses on the relationship between women's bodies and their environment to unleash fantasies of how this relationship can change.
Fifth exhibition of the series THE HERITAGE OF COLLECTIVES: ADAPTATION AND TRANSFORMATION. The cycle for 2024 is loosely linked to the previous years (2023 - PARENT, 2022 - DAUGHTERS SONS MOTHERS FATHERS) and extends it to include the dimension of social ties, relationships and forms, where cooperation and collectivity are seen as necessary aspects of sustainability and survival.
The gallery project is realized with the financial support of the office Municipality of Prague 10, hl. m. Prague a Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
