A lecture on the charms of natural burial, where you will learn how to arrange a funeral that is meaningful, unique, environmentally friendly and affordable. One that combines a sensitive approach to people and nature.
● Learn how you can create a unique last farewell for yourself or your loved ones in accordance with your and their wishes. Stories of specific ceremonies will be accompanied by practical tips, experiences from the Czech Republic and inspiration from abroad.
● You will learn about natural burial, Czech natural cemeteries and the association Ke kořenům.
● You will get practical information on how to create a funeral that is distinctive, meaningful and eco-friendly.
● You will experience that even a "difficult" topic can be spoken about with ease and a clearer idea of your last wishes.
● You can become aware of your mortality and deepen your zest for life.
He is a lecturer Blanka Javor ~ lecturer and ceremonialist from the association To the roots, and co-founder of the Forest of Memories natural cemetery. She was also instrumental in the creation of the Funeral Atelier and Luční cemetery in Prague Ďáblice.

The lecture is a continuation of the exhibition in the gallery space Olga A cemetery without graves; a commemorative biocentre?, which you can visit until 17 February.
Cycle about death conveys themes in art and culture, history and religion, traditions and rituals and brings them to the level of practical community life. It offers connections and encounters between all generations, professionals, lay people, carers, artists, etc. in lectures, debates and workshops.
